Nearly
all of the work done by Halling Parish Council in providing our
services to the villages and local community is achieved through
three committees.
The Estates Portfolio Holder
is responsible for ensuring the tidyness and general
upkeep of the Recreations Grounds in Upper and Lower Halling.
Other green areas and amenities throughout the villages
are also carefully looked after.
The Footpaths
Portfolio Holder is
responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the local country
side footpaths and ensures they are fit for walkers and ramblers
to use safely.
The Planning
& Development Portfolio Holder is
responsible for planning and development issues. S/he, together with other Councillors, reviews
all planning applications within Halling Parish and in conjunction
