At the Annual Parish Meeting 2025, the Halling Youth Club were awarded the Annual KALC (Kent Association of Local Couincils) Community Award Scheme 2025 (Halling). This was for the adult volunteers and the youth themselves, for the way they have provided for the youth of the parish and gone beyong with their help for local events.

The award was presented by the Parish Chair Richard Thorne to Les Hitchcock (a previous winner on individual basis) and Natalie Luck-Brown both leading organisers of the Youth Clu/b at the Annual Parish Meeting (a meeting of residents organised by the Parish Council since 1894)

The annual award is organised across Kent by KALC and supported by the Chair of Kent County Council and the Mayor of Medway Council..

The nominations for 2026 will be sought from the end of November 2025.
